Love this weekly web talk sereis. I like how they explained in this video why some standards are being pushed into higher grades. I do think there are some students that should be pushed further and can handle higher level content (especially in math). It's not for everyone but some kids will grasp even the most difficult concepts early on. I'm also happy to hear there is freedom at the school/district level to make decisions about ELL and LD children.
